As a result of all this...my wonderful hubby has created a rule that I'm not allowed to bake any more cakes this semester. He's really been doing me a favor. Cakes usually consume me. It's all to keep me sane really.
But my sister-in-law's birthday was this weekend, and well, I had to make her a cake. My hubby and I made a deal. So I used a frozen cake I had made about a month ago. I decided not to go the fondant route because that would take a lot of extra time. Instead, I got to try a new technique I saw on i am baker. And here are the results:
This cake was a lot of fun and fairly stress-free!
