Reality...September in Texas does not qualify as Fall, but rather Summer.
However I will not let that get the best of me because I absolutely, without a doubt
love,
love,
love Fall!
3 Reasons
1. The changing colors. (Of which do not apply to south Texas. Shhhh. Don't spoil it for me!) It is so gorgeous! Reds, Golds, Yellows, Oranges of every shade and hue. Fall's display of color is like a symphony; it is breath-taking.
Every year about this time Aaron keeps his eye out for the first shipment of baby pumpkins to arrive in store fronts. These tiny reflections of Fall wrapped up in pumpkin form are his little way of saying "Happy Fall!" I got my first babies today=)
2. Football. Oh how I love football. College football to be precise. Texas Longhorn football to be exact.
This year I am adding to my repertoire Fantasy Football.?.? Not sure if I'll be any good, but a group of gals from church thought we'd give it a whirl. I'll keep you up to date with how horribly sad we are doing=)
3. Change of Weather!
Let there be colder weather! In all actuality it has been getting cooler and for that I am grateful. I will take lower 90's over 100's any day.
4. Ok, so I lied. There are 4 great things about Fall. My list would not be complete without Fall cooking and baking! There are so many amazing delights to be cooking in the fall. Essence of cinnamon, pumpkin, and nutmeg come to mind. Oh the glorious tastes of Autumn.
With that, I leave you to savor the greatness of Fall. Relish in all that it brings!
Oh I'm with you, I looove the fall. Especially once those dry cool mornings come... ahhh.
